Special edition ‘Firefighters for Cuba' T Shirt

This t-shirt has been made to raise funds and deliver direct solidarity to the Cuba Solidarity Campaign. Cuban firefighters and civilians need our support as they are experiencing a severe humanitarian crisis with acute shortages of food, fuel and essential medicines caused by US sanctions imposed by Donald Trump.  

The t-shirt commemorates the worst industrial disaster in Cuba’s history, in which lightning struck a tank at the Matanzas oil storage facility causing fires which raged for 5 days, resulting in the deaths of 17 firefighters and civil defence workers.

The sports t-shirt features a unique FBU badge with Cuban flag on the front, the back bears the words ‘Firefighters for Cuba’ and the sleeves have the number 17, commemorating the number of deaths in the Matanzas incident, and 05.08.2022, the date of the incident.
