An exceptional gift that features the changing badges of the Fire Brigades Union from 1918 to the present day. Founded as the ‘Firemans Trade Union’ (FTU) in 1918, the name was changed in 1930 to the ‘Fire Brigades Union’ and the banner adopted with the letters ‘FBU’ under a Merryweather fire helmet. The ‘FBU’ badge remained constant until, in preparation for the Union’s centenary in 2018, the badge was changed to incorporate the full name of the union contained within a fire hose, flames and a fire helmet. A unique and exceptional gift.
All FBU profits go to the Firefighters 100 Lottery fund to support seriously injured firefighters and their families.
